Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration
for siblings of students currently
attending Thorndale School will be
held the week of January 16th.

Kindergarten (K-4) Information
2012-2013
Thorndale School will offer a
Kindergarten for 4 year olds program
next school year. Following is
important information and criteria
for acceptance to this program.
The K-4 program is a half day
program, five days per week at
the anticipated cost of $100 per
month.
The child must be four years old
by September 30, 2012 with no
exception given.
The child must be eligible to
attend public school English.
Extended Care will be offered
until 5:00 p.m. at an
anticipated additional cost of
$225 per month. A tax receipt
will be issued for this payment
as it is not
government-subsidized daycare.
Cheques made payable to Lester.
B Pearson School Board must be
brought at registration. The
first cheque dated the day of
registration, it will be applied
to the month of September 2012.
The balance of cheques postdated
October 1, 2012 through to June
1, 2013 payable to Lester. B.

The morning entry bell
rings at 7:55am. It is at this time that
there are teachers on duty to monitor the
entry into the school as well as to assist
the children exiting the school buses.
It is important to ensure that your children
are not arriving to school unattended before
7:55am. Should this be problematic for your
family, please keep in mind that our daycare
opens at 7:00am.
